Death of a hiphop legend

I'm still heartbroken about yesterday's news of GURU's (Keith Elam, Gang Starr, Jazzmatazz) passing. He was my favorite emcee of all time. I find so much solace in his rhymes and style. His words can mellow me and bring peace to my spirit. His presence was unrivaled in the game. The hiphop world truly lost one of the most revered and greatest emcees to ever grace a mic. All you ringtone rappers out there need to take some notes. No one can ever touch GURU's lyrical ability and smooth monotone style. Hiphop will never be the same. I'm upset his death is surrounded by so much controversy so I hope everyone out there can respect what a great lyricist and contributor to hiphop this man was and say fuck the other bullshit. Everything will sort itself out in time.

"Just as you'll receive what is coming to you
Everybody else is gonna get theirs too
I ain't no saint, therefore I cannot dispute
That everyone must meet their moment of truth"

Rest in Peace, GURU. Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal
