Japanenglish

So I've learned basic words (yes/no, good/bad, hello/goodbye, today/tomorrow), colors, numbers, months and days of the week so far. Well went back to redo these parts so I could commit them to memory. Happy I've retained them all so far. So for grins... Kyou wa getsuyoubi desu. My birth month is kyuugatsu, day is roku. Not sure how to put those together yet. My jacket kyou is pinku. I have haiiro eyes. My inu is also haiiro. My kuruma is kuroi. Ashita wa kayoubi desu. Hai!! LOL!

My RSX-S, Civic Si situation

So yea two weeks ago today my beloved hot Japanese number got smashed! It was a very sad day for me losing my bad bitch Bianca. May you rest in peace B!! I finally realized why this car in particular was so damn meaningful to me or why I was so attached and that's because she helped me get through the hardest shit I've endured in my life. B... for that I am eternally grateful. We had a couple of really good years that I will always treasure.

On a more resilient note, the successor has been identified and will be in my hands tomorrow night. 2006 Civic Si. I think I'm gonna name her Bryn. She's kuroi too. It's my thing I suppose LOL. <3!!! I'll be driving her home from Colorado Springs on Tuesday and I'm really excited.

Here's to the next chapter.

Master's in Japan??

I stumbled across some information the other day on Facebook about Temple University's campus in Japan. I'm just 11 weeks from being done with the Bachelor's and I've always kind of considered it the minimum level of education I would have. I'm kind of digging this idea of getting my Master's while residing in Japan. LOL I just need a way to take my inu (dog) with me. I could either do an MBA or a Master's in teaching and take up teaching English in Japan which is apparently pretty lucrative and the easiest way for an American to find employment. Food for thought... Mata-ne! Japan or Bust!!

Watashi wa otomeza desu

:)

I'm making quite a bit of progress with the Japanese!! I've been using a combination of Rosetta Stone, different learning tools online and probably the most effective piece, My Japanese Coach on the Nintendo DS. I finally got to learn some sentence structure! Gyeah!! Just like Spanish, I find I'm better at listening or reading so far. In any case, I'm picking up a lot of vocabulary so hopefully I can put it to use conversationally sooner than later.

BTW -- I am a Virgo. ;)

Konnichiwa

Well it's been awhile since I've written anything so here's a little status update. I'm fantastic. Better than ever actually. I had some disturbing info fall into my lap the other night and after lots of soul searching I finally know that I did the right thing. I've been teetering on the edge of that ledge for awhile now but now I know for sure and it's so liberating! I've been in a really fantastic mood ever since and that speaks for itself. I'm pissed off at the same time though over what a waste of my life the whole situation was. I can make peace with it though because I learned a lot about myself and people and how fucked the world really is, not to mention that I'm so much better off. God truly works in very mysterious ways and that's fine by me. Thanks big man upstairs!
Japan or bust and mata ne.
