I don't know why but I'm excited about my birthday this year... I'm so proud to be the badass Virgo that I am. :) Love to all the Virgos reppin' for 9/6! :)

Cool podcasts about living in Japan

A good friend told me about this podcast/blog since he knows how bad I want to move to Japan and I've really been enjoying it. Plus I can listen to them on my badass Nokia. :)

They are a little dated but still good to listen to if you are interested in hearing about living in Japan from a gaijin's POV. The guy that hosts it, Josh, is a riot also so they are fun to listen to. I've learned a lot and even some Japanese! I think I'm going to adopt his exit phrase Mata ne, which means see you later.

He covers various things like banking, shopping, trains, vending machines, lodging, holidays, the imperial family, pets, groceries and all kinds of good stuff.
Just makes me more and more excited to see it for myself.

Mothereffing hell yea!

So yea, as the title of this blog indicates... I'm trying to get to Japan!

So I realized a second ago that I haven't posted anything about Japan except my profession that I want to live there someday.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Japan and everything about it. The architecture is amazing, the culture is amazing, the vivid mesh of ancient and modern packed into such a small package is amazing, the lifestyle is amazing, the people are amazing, the history is amazing, the food is amazing, the geography is amazing... I could go on and on. People think I'm crazy because I love Japan so much but it's like hey mothereffers, I'm not hating on your dreams!

I am drawn to the strange and obscure and this is another reason I love Japan. There are so many weird quirky things in and about Japan and I just can't wait to explore them all. JAPAN OR BUST! :)
